Neue Automatikfunktionen tragen ebenfalls zu starken Bildern bei.

Wer bei seinen Fotos aktiv in die Bildgestaltung eingreifen und nicht nur auf den Auslöser drücken möchte, sollte einen Blick auf die SLT-A37 von Sony werfen. Die neue Kamera ist das perfekte Werkzeug für ambitionierte Fotofreunde, die bereits erste Gehversuche in der kreativen Fotografie gemacht haben, und dennoch nicht vollständig auf intelligente Automatik-Funktionen verzichten möchten.

Einzigartig: der teildurchlässige Spiegel

Der 16,1 Megapixel Exmor Sensor und der verbesserte BIONZ Bildprozessor sind bereits aus anderen hochwertigen SLT Kameras bekannt und teilen sich die Arbeit in puncto Bildqualität. Die Lichtempfindlichkeitseinstellungen lassen keine Wünsche offen. Von ISO 100 bis ISO 16.000 ist alles möglich. Damit spielt die SLT-A37 auch hier in der ersten Liga.

Abgesehen vom Bildverarbeitungs-Duo ist die "Translucent Mirror" Technologie sicher das spannendste Feature. Dank des lichtdurchlässigen, fest stehenden Spiegels ist die neue Kamera von Sony in puncto Serienbildgeschwindigkeit und Autofokus-Präzision zu Höchstleistungen fähig. Als einziger Hersteller bietet Sony dieses besondere Konstruktionsprinzip, bei dem der Spiegel nicht aufklappen muss, damit Licht auf den dahinter liegenden Bildsensor gelangt. Daraus ergeben sich drei Vorteile: Erstens kann das Gehäuse kleiner als bei einer herkömmlichen Spiegelreflexkamera gebaut werden, weil statt des großen optischen Suchers ein elektronischer Sucher weniger Platz im Gehäuse benötigt. Zweitens stellt die Kamera auch im Live-View-Modus extrem schnell scharf, da das Licht gleichzeitig auf den Bild- und den Autofokus-Sensor trifft. Drittens ist es leichter, viele Serienbilder pro Sekunde gestochen scharf aufzunehmen.

Sieben Bilder pro Sekunde

Sieben Fotos pro Sekunde sind mit der neuen SLT-A37 möglich - und das bei kontinuierlichem Autofokus. Das heißt: Während einer Serienbildaufnahme stellt der Autofokus mit seinem Phasensystem und 15 Messpunkten ohne Unterbrechung nach. So bleiben auch Motive in Bewegung scharf - ideal für Aufnahmen bei actionreichen Familienfeiern oder Sportveranstaltungen. Im "Continuous Advance Priority AE Modus" wird der Bildausschnitt um den Faktor 1,4 leicht vergrößert. So sind im Serien-Modus sieben Bilder pro Sekunde möglich.

Extreme Nahaufnahmen dank innovativer Technik

Apropos Zoom: Mit dem Klarbild Zoom verfügt die SLT-A37 über ein weiteres interessantes Feature. Es verdoppelt den Zoombereich des Objektivs, ohne dass die Bildqualität wahrnehmbar beeinträchtigt wird. Dafür sorgt unter anderem die "By Pixel Super Resolution Technologie", die jedes Pixel einzeln verarbeitet und so trotz der Vergrößerung jedes Bilddetail bewahrt. So können schwere Zoomobjektive zu Hause bleiben, wenn sie für die Reise einmal zu unbequem sind.

Mühelose Portraits wie vom Profi

Die "By Pixel Super Resolution Technologie" kommt in der SLT-A37 auch bei einer weiteren Innovation zum Einsatz: Die Portrait-Framing-Funktion hilft unerfahrenen Fotografen, professionell anmutende Portraitaufnahmen zu erstellen. Sie registriert mit Hilfe der Gesichtserkennung nicht nur, dass ein Portrait gemacht werden soll. Die Automatik positioniert die Person im Bild so, wie es ein professioneller Portraitfotograf täte - und zwar gemäß der Drittel-Regel, einer Gestaltungsnorm in der professionellen Fotografie, die sich an den Goldenen Schnitt anlehnt. Muss das Bild hierbei beschnitten und vergrößert werden, minimiert die By Pixel Super Resolution Technologie den Verlust an Bildqualität auf ein kaum wahrnehmbares Maß. Die Originalaufnahme geht dabei nicht verloren. Sie wird neben der bearbeiteten Portrait-Variante auf der Speicherkarte der SLT-A37 ablegt.

Wer nicht nur bei Portraits, sondern auch bei den unterschiedlichsten Motiven auf kreative Programme nicht verzichten möchte, kann bei der SLT-A37 auf elf verschiedene Modi mit insgesamt 15 Bildbearbeitungseffekten zurückgreifen. Einzelne Farben im Bild können so zum Beispiel optisch hervorgehoben werden. Die Resultate der einzelnen Effekte können zum größten Teil bereits vor der Aufnahme auf dem LC-Display in Echtzeit begutachtet werden.

HD-Sucher und klappbares Display

Auch gehobenen Ansprüchen genügt der hochauflösende elektronische HD-Sucher mit 1,44 Millionen Bildpunkten, hervorragenden Kontrasten und einer hundertprozentigen Sichtfeldabdeckung. Er zeigt die Auswirkungen veränderter Kameraeinstellungen auf das endgültige Bild ebenso in Echtzeit an wie der klappbare 6,7 Zentimeter (2,7 Zoll) große LCD-Monitor. Das bewegliche Display ermöglicht jederzeit bequeme Aufnahmen - auch aus ungewöhnlichen Perspektiven.

Auch für Filmfreunde ist die neue SLT-A37 hervorragend gerüstet. Sie erstellt Full HD Videoaufnahmen (1920 x 1080 Pixel) im AVCHD Format und mit 50 Halbbildern (50i) oder 25 Vollbildern (25p) pro Sekunde.

Neues Universalobjektiv und optionales Zubehör

Die neue Sony SLT-A37 kann mit allen A-Mount Wechselobjektiven genutzt werden. Vielseitige Einsatzmöglichkeiten eröffnet das neue, kompakte Zoom-Objektiv SAL-18135 mit einem Zoombereich von 18 bis 135 Millimetern. Auch der schnelle und leise Autofokus sowie die präzise justierbare manuelle Scharfstellung machen das SAL-18135 zu einem idealen Objektiv für den Alltag.

Als sinnvolles Zubehör für die SLT-A37 sind mehrere Fototaschen und der Displayschutz PCK-LM11 erhältlich.

SAN DIEGO, May 16, 2012 - Lightweight, easy to use and packed with a variety of useful features, the new Sony SLT-A37 camera is an ideal choice for consumers eager to explore the world of interchangeable lens DSLR photography.

The new α37 camera is the latest to feature Sony's acclaimed Translucent Mirror Technology, which delivers a potent combination of fast shooting, non-stop phase detection autofocus and continuous live image preview during still and full HD video (60i/24p) shooting. This innovative technology also allows the new α37 camera to grab split-second action with a burst of sharply focused images. Shots can be captured at up to seven frames per second in Tele-Zoom High Speed Shooting Mode, where the central portion of the sensor's image is magnified by approximately 1.4x.

This sharp telephoto zoom lens will also be offered as a kit lens with the α37 and other Sony A-mount camera bodies.
