Hier spricht ein Servicetechniker mal "Klartext" und bestätigt damit, was wir aus dem Service-Manual wissen:

ZITATI wanted to give you guys some more info on this particular repair, seeing as I was the one that spoke to Gil. The problem with the camera was not an AF sensor, it was an AF charge motor which works with the shutter assembly of the camera. Our system is set so that when a black frame issue comes through we write it up as "AF charge & shutter". However, there is also another write up, which is the "AE sensor". Even though the technician estimated for the black frame issue, a clerical error was done when inputting it into the system. Basically, instead of AF, the clerk typed AE, which brought up the AE sensor write up automatically. Because the AE sensor is not covered under the black frame advisory it was automatically estimated as a charge repair. It was an unfortunate mistake, but luckily we caught it before sending it out. Also, something you guys may not be aware of, is how easy it is for us to identify the black frame issue - despite the fact that it is intermittent during the camera operations, the error codes are safely stored in the camera for viewing with the appropriate equipment. We can always tell when the issue is present by viewing these error codes, however, we also perform a visual inspection and functions check in order to properly diagnose it. We are under Sony guidelines that obligate us to check for this issue, regardless of whether the complaint pertains to it or not. If the issue is there, Sony will pay for the repair of the parts that cause this issue, if not we’re forced to estimate it in order to cover the parts and labor. We see all kinds of cameras in the Pro services, and we certainly have seen Maxxum 5D & 7Ds. We know them inside and out so if you guys have any questions feel free to ask me – I’m sure I can answer them for you. I am in the repair department (surrounded by cameras and techs) and I will be glad to help you guys with any questions.
Sybersitizen – you are correct – AF charge & shutter cause the problem in the 5D
