Hi.

Kennt irgendjemand vielleicht eine Angabe, bis zu welcher Kapazität SD- Cards in der Dimage G600 verwendet werden können?
Ich habe jetzt im Moment eine 128 MByte in Verwendung und eine 64 MByte in Reserve.
Allerdings ist die Kapazität nicht sehr groß, wenn man bedenkt daß dort nur 78 Bilder (resp. 48 Bilder in "Fine"- Einstellung) daraufpassen...

Nächstes Jahr geht's auf Tour, und ich habe dann keine Möglichkeit, meine Karten irgendwo zu entleeren...

Nachtrag für diejenigen, die es interessiert:

Kingston hat auf seiner Webseite eine ziemlich gute Produktsuche, wo man einfach den Kameratyp wählen kann und dann die dementsprechenden Produkte angezeigt bekommt.
Laut deren Liste sind sogar 1 GByte möglich...

I guess it's not many left that uses the G600 anymore, but that was my very first proper digital camera.
My broke down after I started to lend it to people, but recently I found one in very good condition.
Almost like new, but the "K" in Konica was missing. Very poor quality of the text on the front...

Anyway... I bought it with empty battery and no charger, so it was untested.
I had a suitable charger already and the camera works fine

Shuttercount was only around 170, so almost unused.

I think the largest SD card is 2Gb as long as it's an ordinary SD card and not SDHC or SDXC. I think 2Gb it's the limit for ordinary SD cards.
At the moment I'm using a 1Gb card, but will confirm 2Gb when I get it.

As for the RAW hack I can copy the larger JPG to my phone with an OTG adapter and the USB cable. Rename from JPG to MRW and view the RAW photos with the app Raw Image Viewer.

The German Wikipedia says:
„Kartenkapazität bis maximal 1 GB (SD 1.0) und 2 GB (SD 1.1)“ and Kingston only lists SD cards up to 1GB as compatible, despite also producing larger SD cards. Hence, it could be that the G600 is using the standard „SD 1.0“. But it is worth a try.

Die deutsche Wikipedia schreibt: „Kartenkapazität bis maximal 1 GB (SD 1.0) und 2 GB (SD 1.1)“. Und Kingston führt nur SD Karten bis maximal 1GB als kompatibel auf, obwohl sie auch SD Karten mit 2GB produziert haben. Es kann also sein, dass die G600 sich an den Standard „SD 1.0" hält. Aber: Probieren geht über Studieren.

I received my 2Gb micro-SD card today and can confirm that it works in the G600.
That's enough for plenty of photos even in highest size and quality mode. Nice!
And if I calculated correctly, about 100 photos in RAW.
As always the whole capacity isn't available.
