Die A700 macht auch 5 Bilder/s in zweistelliger Megapixel-Auflösung auf MS.

Heute hat Sony auch noch eine 16 GB-Variante des Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX angekündigt:

Hinweis: Die Memory Stick PRO-HG DUO HX Baureihe mit der "MSHX4G" (4 GB), "MSHX8G" (8 GB) und "MSHX16G" (16 GB) ist mit 20 MB/s Lese-/Schreibrate und garantierten 15 MB/s Schreibrate nicht die schnellste Sony Memory Stick Duo-Baureihe: Die Memory Sticks PRO-HG DUO (d.h. ohne den Zusatz HX) mit der "MSEX1G" (1 GB), "MSEX2G" (2 GB) und "MSEX4G" (4 GB) werden mit einer Lese-/Schreibgeschwindigkeit von 30 MB/s (nur bei 8-Bit-Übertragung) und einer Datenübertragungsrate wie Schreibgeschwindigkeit(?) von 60 MB/s (auch jeweils nur bei 8-Bit-Übertragung) angegeben.

Am 2009-07-13 wurde auch eine 32 GB-Variante des Sony Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX namens MSHX32G angekündigt:

In den jüngsten Presseankündigungen vom 2009-08-27 für die DSLR-A500, DSLR-A550 und DSLR-A850 taucht diese Memory Stick-Variante ebenfalls auf, allerdings unter der leicht abweichenden Bezeichnung MSHX32G3:

Wie auch immer der 32 GB-HX-Stick nun wirklich heißt, man sollte ihn nicht mit dem am 2009-08-21 von Sony angekündigten 32 GB-Memory Stick PRO Duo verwechseln:

Dieser unter der Bezeichnung MSMT32GN gelistete Stick ist wesentlich langsamer als der MSHX32G und eher für Cyber-shot Digitalkameras und Handycams geeignet als für DSLRs:
